Protocol For All Customers

  • We are currently open at 25% capacity to customers in-store.
  • We will be prescreening all staff with a COVID-19 questionnaire prior to entry.
  • CLD is following Health Canada recommendations to keep our store sanitized. Customers must sanitize their hands before entering the store.
  • Please follow the stickers on the floor and stand behind the lines. We ask our customers to social distance by giving at least 2 metres of space between each person.
  • We recommend all orders by email or phone.
  • Please avoid touching anything in the office, all interaction will be digital. We do not accept cash.
  • E-transfers & credit cards will be the only forms of payment accepted. Credit cards will be taken by a safe distance.

Protocol For Staff

  • The company has reduced staff on-site to provide for a safer workplace.
  • Staff must use the hand sanitizer provided before entering the showroom.
  • No staff on site or in the showroom who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Communicate physical distancing by using signage and floor decals.
  • Entrance door only through the front and exit through the side door by the pergola.
  • Plexiglass barriers installed at each desk. Sales staff will disinfect the cash terminal after each customer. No cash payments. All interaction will be digital.
  • Outdoor physical distancing markers guiding clients making payments.
  • PPE is provided for all staff members to use for COVID-19 protection. (Face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer).
  • Gates open and A-frame signs at entrances highlighting physical distancing.
  • All members are asked to remind other members and anyone on-site to abide by all protocols.
  • Bills of Lading or Packing Slips should not be physically exchanged. Request photos be emailed to the appropriate departments.
  • The company will ensure there is sufficient sanitary, cleaning, and health & safety available at all times.
  • Abide by regular CLD Policies, CLD Job Descriptions, and CLD Health & Safety Policies.

  • The company remains in compliance in accordance with the amended Essential Workplaces list https://www.ontario.ca/page/list-essential-workplaces, aligned with the following categories:

    a) Clause #1 - Supply Chain

    b) Clause #20 - Maintenance

    c) Clause #22 - Transportation Services

    c) Clause #30 - Construction

  • The company continues to operate in accordance with all applicable laws, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the regulations made under it.
